Shall I go for 1 or 2?
Now there’s a question I often get asked to answer on!!
And to be honest, it is not an easy one to answer.
There are advantages to buying 2 pups from the same breeder or litter.
The obvious in being more often than not, they have a permanent playmate to romp around with.
Spending more time chewing each other, rather than your kitchen units and household furniture and the chances of separation anxiety problems when being left alone will be very slim, as they have each others company when you are not around.
But like anything in life, unfortunately, there is a down side.
Not only may you be paying double vets fees, double daycare or holiday boarding, training classes, grooming expenses and insurance etc etc
You will have 2 pups that will listen to each other rather than listen to you, making some training commands with 2 pups very challenging.
My advice would be . . . . . let’s purchase and train 1 puppy first and if all is going well let’s go back and get another.
