The Black Dog Syndrome

Time and time again l hear it from clients…. Oh yes my dog gets on well with all dogs….well except black dogs!!
Mmm well that is an interesting statement because a lot of black dogs do tend to have a slightly more dominant streak in them compared to other coloured coated dogs… But how would your dog be able to recognise this solid black colour when researchers tell us time and time again that our dogs do not see colours as we see them. No…they are not colour blind but they apparently see colours in a slightly muted tone. Maybe they see the black dog as a grey dog…so maybe it should be the Grey DogSyndrome!!!!
